In 2024, our eldest son Archie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a life-changing moment for our family. Since then, the care and support we’ve received from the Paediatric Diabetes Team at Hampshire Hospitals has been truly remarkable. His diabetes consultant, dedicated nurses, the psychology team and dietitians have guided us through every step with knowledge, compassion, and unwavering commitment.
One of the highlights for Archie this year was attending a children’s diabetes camp organised through the support of the hospital. It gave him a sense of belonging, confidence, and joy, surrounded by children who were just like him. As parents, seeing that spark in his eyes meant everything.
Our personal connection to Hampshire Hospitals doesn’t stop there. Our youngest son, Freddie, was born in a Hampshire Hospital. Throughout pregnancy and birth, Chloe, our Business Development Manager and my wife, was cared for with kindness and professionalism. The experience reaffirmed our belief that we are incredibly lucky to have such outstanding local healthcare.
And we know we’re not alone in feeling this way.
Most of our clients live in Andover, Basingstoke, Winchester, or the surrounding Hampshire area. Whether it’s been through joyful beginnings, difficult diagnoses, or moments of crisis, many of us, or our loved ones, have leaned on the care and expertise of our local hospitals.
Hampshire Hospitals Charity plays a vital role in making that care even better. They fund equipment, services, and improvements that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide. Their work directly impacts the wellbeing of patients and families in our community.
That’s why we’ve committed to raising as much awareness and funding as much as possible over the next 12 months. Some of the events we’re excited to launch include:

- 🎟 A Virtual Raffle during November and December (more details will be released later this year)
